Alicia Chasteau 

Alicia is a group exercise instructor, yoga teacher and coach, with over 10 years teaching experience.

​

On the retreat Alicia will be inviting you to let loose and party in a dance fitness or Zumba class. She will also be teaching Body Tune: a body conditioning and barre inspired class, set to music.

​

Alicia also works as an events organiser and will be hosting the retreat on hand with the rest of the team to make sure you have the most amazing weekend!

Cousins Alicia and Taron-i work together to organise this summer retreat. Their aim is to offer fitness, wellness, rest and connection, that is accessible financially, inclusive and delivered by a diverse group of facilitators.

Taron-i Sylvester

Taron-I is an experienced Personal Trainer with over 15 years of experience.

​

Having worked with a range of clients from those with severe mobility issues to world champion athletes, Taron-i brings a wealth of knowledge in all things strength and fitness. Specialising in the use of biomechanics he aims to patiently teach key techniques to better your physical wellbeing, manage pain and improve function. 

​

Over the weekend, he will be holding workshops on mobility, stability and posture. You will leave sessions with the tools to identify and correct any imbalances or restrictions in your body.

Donna Peart 

Donna specialises in and will be offering Hatha and Restorative Yoga with a focus on breath awareness. Donna's style is mindful, encouraging students to intuitively find their way, developing their practice at their own individual pace. Donna is also a Level I / II Reiki Practitioner.

Faye Edwards

Celebrity trainer, founder of F.I.T Jam Dance Movement, and Master Trainer at Johnson Digital, Faye Edwards is renowned for her high energy and positive influence in the fitness space.

Faye’s inclusive approach is that each individual journey is their own. Every ‘body’ is different, and every body is capable! 

​

Expect to feel empowered and motivated in Faye’s F.I.T sessions.

Khaled Kendsi

Khaled has been practising yoga since 1998 when he tried it to help relieve a lower back injury. He has been teaching since 2009 and holds the Level 2 teaching certificate.

​

He has attended classes in RIMYI in Pune several times, where he studied with the Iyengar family and helped in the medical classes. Khaled is attentive and helpful, with deep understanding of the precise methods of Iyengar yoga.

Khaled works as a Cardiac Physiologist for the NHS and is qualified in Immediate Life Support.

Louis Walcott

As a coach, Louis helps people achieve meaningful lifestyle changes by empowering them to take control of their fitness, nutrition  and mindset. 

​

Louis is also founder of Mandem on the Mat, a community providing immersive experiences through events and workshops in Yoga, Meditation and Sound Healing for black men to practice. 

​

On our summer retreat Louis will be offering sessions in both yoga and fitness.

Kay Smith

Kay has  been playing djembe for the last 15 years and loves to both teach and perform.  Kay  likes to describe her sessions as an introduction to the 'Joys of Djembe'. She loves what she does and it makes her incredibly happy to share her passion with others. This shines through in Kay's uplifting, joyous and infectious fun energy. Kay’s goal is to create an enjoyable experience for all levels and experience of participants.

Raimonda Richards

Raimonda Richards has been practicing yoga for 20 years and teaching for 13 years. Raimonda Studied Kundalini Yoga with Shiv Charan Singh, a rirect student of Yogi Bhajan.

​

Raimonda studied a Gong Sound Practitioners course with Gong Master Don Corneux who also studied and worked together with Yoghi Bhajan. Later she undertook the Gong sound practitioners course with Tom Solton and Abbi de Sol.

Through completion of a Shamanic practitioners course, her interest moved to study and practice work on the subconscious mind. Raimonda uses this as a focus in her classes and workshops to help people to release subconscious blocks.
