What is 'Ubuntu Spirit'

Ubuntu is an African proverb. Coming from Zulu, many say Ubuntu is hard to define in just a few words.

Definitions and Values of Ubuntu include;

"I am because you are"

Humanness and Compassion

The belief that we are defined by our kindness and compassion to others, a belief in a universal bound of sharing that connects all humanity, community, interconnectedness and a sense that our own well-being is tied to the well-being of others.

For us..

'Ubuntu' completely encompasses all we believe in and value.

Our aim is to work in and spread the spirit of Ubuntu through our community.

The Ubuntu Spirit Team

❤️

This was my first ever retreat and I wouldn’t have changed it for the world. Having just recovered from an operation I was able to take things at my own pace and do as much or as little as I’d like. The classes and treatments on offer were amazing and I think I managed to do a bit of everything on offer.

The grounds were beautiful, very clean, peaceful and captivating. The food was exceptional and would love to have this type of food everyday (I even ate salad!!!). The team involved are truly inspirational as they love what they do and are easy to chat and get along with 🥰.

I feel this experience has something for everyone whether it’s finding yourself, enjoying exercising, surrounding yourself with friends or making new ones, having time to yourself, whatever you need you will find at an Ubuntu Spirit retreat! ❤️
