Tarifa Retreat FAQ's

How do I book?

Booking can be made on this page above. All bookings require a minimum of just £250 to secure your place. We then ask that you have paid at least half of your balance owed by the end of August 2024. Full balance will be due 6 weeks before the event.

Can I pay monthly?

Yes, of course. If needed, payments can also be made via; bank transfer, standing order, a recurring card payment or in cash to one of our teachers/hosts. We recommend you contact us and we can support you in accessing the best payment option for you. Please note, if making a payment via bank transfer or standing over, please state your full name as a reference.

I am thinking of sharing. What is the difference between the lodges and the bungalow?

Both are beautiful. All rooms have the same facilities such as an ensuite bathrooms, fridges and tea making facilities. The main difference is in sleeping areas and the look and design. In the lodges, the beds are separated into different sleeping areas, but you will see by the pictures, that bedrooms have no doors. In contrast, the lodges have clear separate bedrooms, divided by walls and doors. Again this can be seen in the pictures for each room.

What is not included?

Transport to and from the venue is not included. Flights need to be arranged by yourself. We can support with arranging transport to and from the venue from the airport. The drive is about 50 minutes.

What happens if I need to cancel my booking?

For any bookings cancelled up to 12 weeks before the event, a full refund of any payments will be given, minus the min deposit value. For cancellations made up to 8 weeks before the retreat, refunds will not be possible. Name changes to transfer a booking can can be made free of charge at any time. We highly advise you to take out travel insurance for your trip and stay to ensure you are compensated should you need to cancel. This would cover cancellations due to health reasons for example, having covid, or if the retreat has to be cancelled for reasons out of our control, such as a lockdown or due to extreme weather.

Do I need to bring equipment along for classes?

We would advise you to bring your own yoga mat if you can. The venue will have a few spare but these are limited and we can not gaurantee the type of quality of the mats. We would also recommend that you bring an eye mask or eye pillow for relaxation based classes. We are hoping to have some travel mats from our friends at Ladina Yoga on sale at the retreat.

What do I need to bring with me?

Bring comfortable clothing that can be worn for both movement sessions and when more still. There will be evening relaxation or meditation sessions, so warm relaxed clothing for the evenings is recommended. We encourage a relaxed  environment.

Other items we recommend for you to bring are; trainers, a waterproof jacket, flip flops/ sandals, sun cream, swimwear, and a refillable water bottle (ideally one that keeps water cold). You may also wish to bring a notebook and/or a journal for reflection. All rooms include linen, towels and natural bathing products. beach towels can be borrowed for an additional cost at reception.
